We'll be attending Skipton Goat Sale 2025 (yes - all the way up in North Yorkshire!) with a selection of our Pedigree Boer breeding bucks and bucklings. At present, this is likely to be a one-time event and we are not anticipating that we will make this an annual sale for our stock at present; as such, we wanted to celebrate the journey with a special giveaway for our Facebook followers!
We are giving away three buck vouchers worth £10, £20, and £50 each to three lucky winners. These buck vouchers can be redeemed for a £10, £20, or £50 refund (respectively) by BACS transfer on a successful purchase of one of our Himmon Boer Goats entries in Skipton Goat Sale 2025, provided the purchase price meets the minimum price as set out in the Terms and Conditions as follows.
Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs)
(We've tried to keep these simple, but any questions, please ask!)
1. How to Enter
a) In order to enter the giveaway to win a buck voucher, individuals must like and comment on the ORIGINAL giveaway post on Facebook, as can be found linked here. Comments and likes on shared posts do not count as an entry.
b) Each entrant will be allocated a number in the order of comment, provided they have also liked the post.
c) Sharing the giveaway post is optional, but doing so will give one additional entry into to the giveaway.
d) Entries will be drawn on Friday 29th August 2025 using a Random Number Generator to draw the relevant winner
e) The £50 buck voucher will be drawn first, then the £20 voucher, and finally the £10 voucher.
f) Each entrant can only win one buck voucher. In the event that an entrant's number(s) are drawn twice, the lower-value voucher will be redrawn (e.g. If an individual's number was drawn for both the £50 and the £20 voucher, the £20 voucher would be redrawn).
f) In the interest of winner anonymity, winners will be messaged directly from either the Herd Facebook Page or from Charlotte Riggs' Facebook Page (herd manager) and will be informed of which voucher they have won.
f) Entrants can contact the Herd Page or Charlotte Riggs at any time to check what their individual entry numbers are.
g) In the interest of anonymity, no other entrant's entry details will be given out or shared in any circumstances.
h) Buck vouchers cannot be transferred to any other person other than the winner.
2. Qualifying Purchases
a) Each buck voucher can only be redeemed on ONE qualifying buck.
b) Buck vouchers are only eligible to be redeemed on Himmon Copse Farm's entries at Skipton's "Annual Show and Sale of Goats" 2025 (e.g., lots entered by vendor "C Riggs" in the catalogue).
c) Per 2(b), buck vouchers cannot be redeemed on lots from any other vendor.
d) Per 2(b), buck vouchers cannot be redeemed on purchases made privately or from other auctions.
e) Buck vouchers can only be redeemed on successful purchases of lots entered by Himmon Copse Farm (vendor: C Riggs in the catalogue) meeting the minimum purchase prices outlined in point 2(f). Unsuccessful purchases (i.e. those not meeting reserve price) or purchases not meeting the minimum purchase prices are non-redeemable.
f) Minimum purchase prices: (i.) £50 buck voucher is only redeemable on bucks successfully selling (meeting reserve) for £250 or greater through the auction ring. (ii) £20 buck voucher is only redeemable on bucks successfully selling (meeting reserve) for £220 or greater through the auction ring. (iii) £10 buck voucher is only redeemable on bucks successfully selling (meeting reserve) for £210 or greater through the auction ring.
3. Redeeming a Buck Voucher
a) Holders of a buck voucher can redeem the voucher for a refund of the specified voucher value after purchase of a qualifying buck.
b) Payment in full is still required on the day, paid to the auction market (CCM Auctions / Skipton Auction Market).
c) Refunds using a buck voucher will be made via BACS transfer after the event. Holders of a buck voucher will need to provide the necessary bank details to enable the BACS transfer to be made.
d) Buck vouchers can only be redeemed on one qualifying purchase only.
e) If no successful purchase of a buck from Himmon Copse Farm (Vendor: C Riggs) is made at the sale in 2025, the buck voucher will be void and will have no financial value.
f) If a buck was purchased for less than the buck voucher's minimum purchase price, the buck voucher will be void and no refund will be given. (e.g., If a buck was purchased for £200, the buck voucher would not have met its minimum purchase price and so would be void).
g) Buck vouchers are redeemable in full only.
h) Buck vouchers must be redeemed within one calendar month of the sale (e.g. on or before 30th September 2025).
i) Contact us by Facebook, through the website, or by email to redeem the buck voucher.
j) Proof of purchase may be required to redeem the buck voucher.
4. Cancellation of the Giveaway
a) We reserve the right to cancel or amend the giveaway at any time.
b) If, for any reason, we are unable to attend the sale, all buck vouchers will be voided (as no successful qualifying purchase would be possible) with no financial value being given out.
