Most of our pedigree ewes for sale are sold as young ewe lambs. However, we do occasionally sell proven shearling ewes and aged ewes as well.

Having retained several lambs from last year, we now have a small selection of Pedigree ewes available. All animals listed below will be available by private treaty first, however, if still available in August, we are intending to sell them at the Exeter Dutch Spotted Society summer sale.

​

Viewings and enquiries are welcome for those looking to purchase early. All ewes will be registered with the DSSS or the BTSS as appropriate (the official DEFRA-recognised Dutch Spotted and Blue Texel breed societies respectively) in the appropriate flockbook where applicable.

Team-Rock Eclipse - £595

 

A lovely Dutch Spotted purebred ewe (Beech Hay Buster X IM Chloe) who we'll be very sad to see go - only available due to retaining both of her twin daughters and two granddaughters in the flock, as well as having a further ram and ewe lamb out of her. Purchased at Worcester in December 2023 for 1000gns.

Orchard End Gucci - £695

 

A lovely Dutch Spotted purebred ewe (Top Spot Feisty X Sunnybank Ewe Beauty), one of triplets. Lambed as a ewe lamb in 2024 and successfully reared a beautiful ewe lamb; also lambed in 2025. Only available due to retaining her daughter but this is one we've thought very long and hard about as Gucci is a beautiful ewe with some cracking names in her pedigree. Her dam was 1st at Chepstow 2022.

 

 

 

Irthing Valley Honey ET - £795

A beautiful, well grown Dutch Spotted shearling ewe, purchased at Carlisle in May 2024 from the acclaimed Irthing Valley flock, sired by new import ram IM Tank and out of Irthing Valley Emma, a Westbroad B Explorer II daughter. Only available due to also purchasing her full brother shortly after placing the winning bid on her who is our main stock ram for 2025.

A lovely shearling Dutch Spotted ewe, available later in the year due to possibly being in lamb late. Sired by Himmon Earl, a Spaniard grandson, out of Himmon Eureka.

A lovely shearling Dutch Spotted ewe, available later in the year due to being in lamb late. Sired by Himmon Earl, a Spaniard grandson, out of Himmon Lane Farm Foxy Bon Bon. 

 

 

 

IM Emulan - £295

​

An imported Dutch ewe with fresh bloodlines, purchased from the highly acclaimed Wedderburn flock (who own the 20,000gns ewe Candyfloss) in December 2023 for 900gns at Worcester Market. Very wide Dutch Spotted ewe, retained and used a triplet son successfully across the flock in 2024 (son can be seen if not sold prior). Very cheap due to her bite no longer being ideal although this doesn't impact her ability to eat in any way; we believe to be due to age as her son's bite, and all of his lambs, have been perfect. She also had a slight touch of mastitis in 2024 but this didn't cause her any trouble.

 

Nb. This Dutch Spotted ewe is sold with full disclosure of her age-related faults and previous mastitis and is sold as seen, hence her low price. She will not be sold at the society sale due to her bite being off but will be sold with her papers. Available cheap to help someone get into the breed if they cannot afford purebreds, however if unsold she will be culled prior to breeding season.
